T-MAX Kinetic Recovery Belt 11T, 9m, white

If a vehicle is stuck in mud, deep mud, in a water hole or in sand, then a kinetic recovery rope, known as a snatch strap, is usually the simplest and quickest recovery solution, provided there is a second vehicle and it is on a surface with good grip. You will be surprised how easy it is to recover a vehicle that appears to be completely stuck.

Even if recovery by winch is unsuccessful because the winching vehicle is moving instead of the vehicle to be recovered, a kinetic recovery belt is usually the rescue.

The kinetic recovery belts from T-MAX are made of nylon and expand by up to 21%. The two ends are folded, reinforced and protected with an additional cover. A sliding sleeve serves as protection against scratches if the recovery belt is in contact with the vehicle.

Additional shackles may be required for attachment to the vehicle.

APPLICATION
The kinetic recovery belt is attached to both vehicles by means of shackles. The distance between the two vehicles should be a few metres shorter than the length of the recovery belt. The distance ensures that the towing vehicle can initially pick up some speed before the kinetic recovery belt is fully tensioned and then expands further. The vehicle to be recovered is first gently pulled before the kinetic energy of the towing vehicle is used to pull out the stuck vehicle.

The faster the towing vehicle travels, the higher the kinetic energy (kinetic energy). For those interested in physics, T = 1/2 mv².

Tip: The bolts of the shackles should remain open approx. 1/4 turn so that they can be opened easily after the recovery operation. Otherwise they could jam when deformed and can only be opened with a tool.

ADVANTAGE
The expansion of the belt prevents jerky high loads from occurring on the vehicle to be recovered or the towing vehicle, which could cause damage to the vehicles or the recovery rope.

KINETIC RECOVERY BELT 24000-9
The kinetic recovery strap 24000-9 has a length of 9 m and is 80 mm wide. The minimum breaking load is 11,000 kg (24,000 pounds).

Recommended for vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of approximately 2,700 to 3,700 kg.
