The König XD-16 has a ground mounting system: thanks to the flexible cable that slides on the ground behind the tire, all chain parts are connected without moving the vehicle.
Once the snow chain is mounted on the tire, the XD-16 must be stopped after a short, slow drive in order to tighten the chain properly.

The cross-section of the König XD-16 snow chain consists of simple, straight chain links to maximize the balance between performance and driving comfort. The high number of cross sections ensures a continuous grip and improved force distribution to maximize the reliability of the product.
Additional features, such as the König microregulation system and the König level 2 Wheel Shield system, complete the package and offer additional benefits and added value to the end user.
The König XD-16 is certified according to Ö-Norm V5117, Ö-Norm V5119, UNI 11313 and EN 16662-1 and therefore fulfills all legal requirements for winter equipment.
