One more thing to note: the Goodwinch is specially designed for plastic ropes. The brake is not located in the drum, but on the gearbox. This means that the drum does not heat up and the synthetic rope does not need heat protection and is never exposed to heat!

Pulling force: 9,500 lbs 4,318.40kg, Power: 5 hp, Rope: Plastic rope (Dyneema Rope) 30.5 m x 10 mm The rope always has a 2:1 pulling force compared to the winch. So approx. 8 tons.

The winch comes directly with the Dyneema Rope with hook, a pulley, an aluminium rope window, pre-configured cable kit / electrical kit for Discovery 3, Discovery 4 & New Defender and bone switch, wired remote control.
