Another thing to note: the Goodwinch is specially designed for plastic ropes. The brake is not located in the drum, but on the gearbox. This means that the drum does not heat up and the synthetic rope does not need heat protection and is never exposed to heat!

Pulling force: 9,500 lbs 4,318.40kg, Power: 5 hp, Rope: Plastic rope (Dyneema Rope) 30.5 m x 10 mm The rope always has a 2:1 pulling force compared to the winch. So approx. 8 tons.

The winch comes with the Dyneema Rope with hooks, a pulley, an aluminium rope window, pre-configured cable kit / electrical kit for Discovery 3 & 4 and bone switch, wired remote control and a Goodwinch winch holder for concealed installation.

The winch can also be installed by us on a Range Rover Sport up to 2009. However, further adjustments are necessary.
