T-Max Recovery Belt 20M

A recovery strap can be used as an extension of a winch cable that is too short or to recover a vehicle that is stuck in the terrain.

If it is foreseeable that the vehicle may get stuck when driving through water or mud, it makes sense to attach a recovery belt to the towing eye of the vehicle beforehand so that a winch rope does not have to be attached in or under water in the event of an emergency. Ideally, the belt can then be thrown to the recovery partner without having to leave the vehicle.

When using a recovery belt, jerky loads must be avoided at all costs to prevent damage to the vehicles or the belt. Especially with normal road vehicles, the towing eyes are not designed for jerky loads and can tear out or deform the frame. If a vehicle cannot be towed free with a normal recovery belt, a kinetic belt should be used for recovery.

T-MAX recovery belts are made of nylon. The two ends are folded, reinforced and protected with an additional cover. A sliding sleeve serves as protection against scratches if the recovery belt rests against the vehicle.

Additional shackles may be required for attachment to the vehicle.

The recovery belt has a length of 20 m and is 80 mm wide. The minimum breaking load is 8,000 kg (17,500 pounds).
