A trunk extension for the Discovery is a very useful feature, as the trunk is very deep and difficult to reach due to the drop down tailgate. In addition, a pull-out cargo floor allows you to add almost any details, lashing eyes, cabinet extensions, etc, since other parts can be easily bolted onto the pull-out floor.

Our extendable loading floor is mounted with stainless steel profiles to the existing screw points of the lashing eyes in the trunk, so no drilling is necessary on the vehicle and the old lashing eyes can even be reused. The telescopic rails we use are made of stainless steel and are specified by the manufacturer with a maximum load capacity of 240kg. In addition, the rails lock retracted and extended. The maximum extension length is approx. 900mm. As a base plate for the pull-out we use a solid screen printing plate, so that on the one hand a high load capacity is created, but on the other hand any attachments (airline rails, lashing eyes, brackets for boxes, cabinets, etc.) can be simply and easily screwed into the wooden floor.

Another advantage is that several floor panels with different superstructures can be used, which can be changed. Thus, one extension can be prepared for the solo off-road trip, and a second for the vacation with the family or the professional trip with the Disco.

This makes trunk removal a breeze.
